Do I use this or the Curl Priming Cream?

Both, and the order matters: cream first on damp hair to hydrate and prime the curl, then this to define and hold it. That's how I do it in the chair. The potion on its own holds a curl that was never properly hydrated, which is why people end up with definition that feels hard.

Does it leave hair crunchy or sticky?

No. It holds with plant cellulose polymers rather than conventional gel resins, so you get flexible hold without stiffness, flaking or residue. If yours does feel crisp, you've used too much or skipped the cream underneath.

Wet hair or dry hair?

Either. On wet hair after the cream it sets the curl as it dries; on dry hair it revives and redefines second-day curls. For the most definition, diffuse on low heat rather than air-drying.

Is it safe on color-treated hair?

Yes — it defines curls without stripping color, and it's a good partner for colored curly hair where dryness and fade tend to arrive together.

Can I use it every day?

Yes, it's gentle enough for daily styling and refreshing. On non-wash days, dampen lightly first and use less than you would on wash day.

Which size should I start with?
