A dry matte clay that shapes and separates rather than sets, giving short to mid-length hair defined ends and a second-day edge. It stays workable, so the style can be roughed up or reshaped through the day.

• Defines and separates with a matte finish

• Adds grip and texture for lived-in styles

• Flexible hold

• Layerable to work in and build texture

Emulsify into hands.

Work through dry hair to change texture, mold, and separate for a dry, matte finish.

Rub into the roots to rough up the style and add volume.

A light, earthy scent straight from the clay's natural minerals — grounded and understated, with none of the syrupy sweetness of a typical styling product.

Petrolatum, Cera Alba/Beeswax/Cire d'abeille, Dicaprylyl Maleate, Propylene Glycol, Kaolin, PEG-10 Sunflower Glycerides, Silica, Quaternium-90 Bentonite, Tocopherol, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Caramel, Ext. Violet 2 (CI 60730)

What does it do?

Gives hair movement and playfulness with a matte finish. It's for texture and shape rather than slickness — piecey, worked-through, nothing shiny.

Any pro tip for using it?

Yes, and it's the one I'd pass on: warm it in your palms with a little Dark Oil Lite. The oil loosens the clay into a creamier consistency, so it spreads more easily, and you get a bit more texture and hold than clay alone. That's how I use it.

How much?

A small amount, emulsified between the palms before it goes anywhere near your hair. Clay applied straight from the tub clumps up.

Wet or dry hair?

Dry. It's a finishing and shaping product, not something to blow-dry through.
