What does it actually do?

It gives fine hair a thicker feel and long-lasting hold — real body rather than just lift at the root. It's the firmest of the Volupt styling options.

Mousse or spray gel?

Mousse for a thicker feel and stronger hold. Spray gel for flexible, natural-looking body. Mousse if your volume usually falls out by lunchtime.

How do I apply it?

A golf-ball amount into damp hair, worked through the roots and mid-lengths, then blow-dry with a round brush. Ceramic if your hair is fine and you want volume and curl.

Is it sticky?

No, but like any mousse, too much reads as stiff. Start small.
